James is a seasoned restaurant operations and culinary expert with over 30 years of experience, having successfully opened 13 acclaimed restaurants. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, James has honed his craft in some of the world’s most iconic destinations, including Aspen, CO; St. Moritz, Switzerland; New York City; Park City, UT; Blue River, Canada; Hokkaido, Japan; Svalbard, Norway; and the Big Island of Hawaii, before returning to Park City.
Throughout his illustrious career, James has earned numerous awards and accolades, including a prestigious James Beard Nomination for Best Bar – West, and being named Park City’s Best Chef, as well as leading the Best Restaurant and Bar in the region.
