Chef Kevin Hee has held the position of Executive Chef for Montage Deer Valley where he oversees the culinary program, since March 2022. Prior to joining Montage Deer Valley, Chef Hee served as executive chef at Famous Foods Street Eats/Resorts World Las Vegas, where he opened and oversaw 18 restaurant concepts in the first-ever food hall combining Michelin-rated Asian Hawker stalls with James Beard and other award-winning domestic chefs. Previously Hee held the role of director of culinary development and operations at Elite Brand Hospitality/MH Frederick/Ascend Hospitality Group in Las Vegas, where over the course of five years, he opened more than 20 restaurants, designed kitchens, and consulted with prominent food and beverage corporations. Prior to that, Hee joined Gordon Ramsay as opening Executive Chef of Gordon Ramsay Steak, Las Vegas. He also had the pleasure to work for over 9 years in different Culinary Concepts with Michael Mina at NobHill, Bourbon Steak, Saltwater, StripSteak and Michael Mina at the Bellagio, MGM Grand Las Vegas, MGM Grand Detroit and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Born and raised in the Hawaii Kai neighborhood of Oahu, Hee studied business at the University of Hawaii while discovering his love of food and passion for cooking. Now right at home surrounded by the beauty of the Rocky Mountains in Park City, he enjoys unwinding with his wife and dogs and keeping up with culinary trends.
