Luke studied Winemaking at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and got a Master of Science in Enology and Viticulture from Euromaster Vinifera. After completing the WSET diploma program from the Austrian Wine Academy and living in Europe for two and half years, he moved back to the United States and has had the pleasure of selling the Cakebread Family wines for the past four years. He feels strongly that nothing can better connect history, a sense of place, nature, science, art, cuisine, and a love for the moment like wine. He also believes that very few families in the world are as dedicated to their craft, and as passionate about their finished product, as the Cakebreads.
